Reviews
This is an absolutely fantastic thermometer — I have used many thermometers in the past, but this one has all of the features and the quality that surpasses any other thermometer that I have used. 5/5!The features that I liked the most were:- The tip is very pointed and goes through food and meat very easily as expected.- Unlike other toxic thermometers this one actually uses ceramic and stainless steel only — instead of plastic/silicon which leeches into your food/off-gases in your vicinity. The black tip is actually ceramic and not plastic or silicon.- The pairing process through the application was absolutely shockingly fast and very streamlined.- The app surprisingly is actually very intuitive and just works how you would want it too — it pairs right away and does not require a traditional Bluetooth pairing process it pairs through a microchip inside the thermometer right to your phone instantly as you click pair on the app, no complicated pairing process.- The thermometer temperature grading is very accurate and very sensitive to temperature changes, and matches the correct temperatures that I have cross referenced with other thermometers as well.- It charges via USB-C, which is an extreme relief because everything modern nowadays is USB-C and a lot of these brands don’t provide this and it is very inconvenient and a headache, as micro-usb (old standard) has tons of issues vs USB-C. I actually do not purchase products who do not come with USB-C.- Everything is well-built — I am a stickler for quality — and I can’t find anything wrong with the product’s build quality and their customer service is fantastic. If you want a wireless thermometer with great battery life, nontoxic, that just works and doesn’t have an application that annoys you like 99% of them out there, this one is a 10/10, I would highly recommend it!
I purchased this product initially to put it in my smoker for some smoked meats but I decided to try it out in the oven first to roast a 20lbs turkey. The range of the thermometer was good as long as the base unit has a connection to the probe; it will notify you when the probe is disconnected from the base if it is too far away. I kept the base within 10 feet of the probe since I initially wrapped it with heavy aluminum foil and the oven door would limit the range between the probe and the base. I was able to go freely anywhere in my 2,000 sq ft, two story house and have no problems with the signal loss between my phone and the base station. The alert on the base station is loud enough to hear it in any room on the same level. The temperature reported consistently in the app and I was able to set my preferred temperature and it alerted me when it was reached. I didn’t have any issues reading the temperature or signal drop for the entire roasting duration of 4.5 hours and it had shown no sign of low battery. I feel confident that I would be able to throw it in my smoker for 8+ hours without any issues as well. It is a solid product and does what it needs to do. I compared the temperature reported with a chef thermometer and it was accurate. The only improvements I could think about are in the mobile app, but those can be pushed out as an app update when the time comes. Things like allowing setting a timer with hours, not only minutes and seconds; which I can easily just use a timer on my phone so it’s not a dealbreaker for me.
This thermometer is pure genius for cooking on the grill. However, I was a bit skeptical if it would work. The grill is all metal and how could Bluetooth penetrate metal? Also, our kitchen is in the front of our house and the grill is on the deck in the back of the house. This is way more than 30 ft. and normal Bluetooth would never work over this distance. So, I put it in a filet of salmon and put it on the grill. It worked beautifully. I could leave the grill closed (and maintain the heat inside), and know exactly how far along the salmon was as it cooked in grill while I was in the kitchen. The accuracy of the thermometer is spot on. I tested it in a glass of hot water and compared to my normal kitchen thermometer. It is also so easy to use. It gives you the temperature of the food. You can also add a "set" temperature and once the food reaches that temperature, it beeps. If you want additional complication, you can download the app for your smart phone. I found the docking station that comes with the thermometer sufficient. The thermometer will charge when put into the cradle of the docking station. It is super easy to use. If you plan to grill ANYTHING this summer, you should have one of these thermometers. Of course, it will be great roasting that turkey for Thanksgiving or anything that you do not want to over or under cook. I strongly recommend this thermometer. I am impressed with it.
After our 4th analog meat thermometer let us down, We decided to get a digital thermometer with a LCD temperature readout. This meat thermometer intrigued us because it is wireless and can be used with your smartphone. Once we downloaded the app, all we had to do was pair it with the thermometer base. It was easy to do and has an extremely simple and basic interface. We set the temperature, jammed the thermometer into a chicken and clicked the chicken icon. That automatically sets it for 167 degrees. Then popped it in the preheated oven. The timer base station has a magnet on the back, so we stuck it to the stove oven and went about our business. About an hour later a smartphone notification alerted us that the temperature had been reached. It does what it should and doesn't complicate the process. Here's the caveat. It does work with Bluetooth technology. That means your phone and the base station need to be within 35 feet of each other. Your phone might disconnect if you go out of range. However, no worries, the base station keeps track of things and it pairs again when you come back within distance. The other possible issue is if you cover your meat with foil, which degrades the bluetooth signal. But all in all, we're really satisfied with this kitchen gadget. The digital readout means you don't have to guess where the needle is pointing to, leaving old school thermometers in the dust.
Have you seen the Aneceia Wireless Meat Thermometer? It's seriously a game-changer in the kitchen. You won't believe this, but it has a working Bluetooth range of 800 feet! That means you can be anywhere in your house or even in the yard, and still keep an eye on your roast or BBQ. Super convenient, right? I have used it and it does not dissapoint! The best part is how easy it is to use. Even if you're not a tech whiz, you'll get the hang of it in no time. The display is super clear and shows the temperature perfectly. It's great for any kind of meat, so whether you're doing a chicken for dinner or smoking a brisket for a party, you're covered. And it feels really sturdy too. You can tell it's made to last, which is great because I hate having to replace kitchen gadgets all the time. Plus, the accuracy is spot on. I mean, nobody wants overcooked steak, and with this, you won't have to worry about that.Honestly, it's not just a thermometer; it's like your little cooking assistant. It's perfect for anyone who loves to cook, professional or not. It just makes everything so much simpler and more enjoyable. Definitely worth checking out if you like to have your cooking just right.
